Adaptive Behaviour Research Group

The ABRG’s aim is to form an understanding of animal and human behaviour by studying computer models of neural circuits and the behaviour patterns of robots using these models. We are a multi-disciplinary group drawing on ideas from computational neuroscience, adaptive behaviour, neuroscience, ethology, evolutionary biology, connectionism and robotics.

The ABRG is part-funded by EPSRC grant EP/C516303/1, the EU Framework 6 ICEA project, and the Framework 7 BIOTACT project.

The ABRG has a 4-year postdoctoral research associate position available in computational neuroscience.

The ABRG provides postgraduate training through the MSc in Systems and Computational Neuroscience. Applications are now being taken for September 2009 entry.
